Hi Earthlings! It's been a week or so since I've been in London and I apologize for the late update. Anyway, I have to tell you about my trip to London and specifically my visit to Windsor Castle – it wasn’t just a trip; this is a Dream. Like, ever since I was a little girl, I've been dreaming about twirling around my living room pretending to be royalty and singing along to “Kitty, kitty, where have you been? I've been to London to visit the Queen.
So, to be honest, part of me really wanted to meet Elizabeth II. She passed away in September 2022 and I realized that my dream of meeting her would not come true, but I did Go visit her grave. I didn’t see her waving from the balcony, but standing at her grave in St. George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. It's beautiful, but also touching. In the tomb of Her Royal Highness lies a huge statue, standing side by side with King Philip, who died a year before her. To know that she rests there with the love of her life, surrounded by generations of history, is…a lot.
However, as strange as it sounds, being there feels like go home. It's like I was meant to wander those halls, immersed in the stories and secrets of the past. Maybe it's silly, but part of me wonders if I'm the queen of another world. I felt this strange connection in that space – like I belonged here.

Marcus is lovable and willing to play with, even though he is no About the life of that monarch. He was basically my emotional support prince while I was obsessed with the centuries-old Crown Jewels. I could have spent hours soaking up the atmosphere of the castle, but I spared him for the second round – that's how considerate I am. Still, just being there—seeing the majestic architecture and imagining life within those walls—is remarkable. everything.
Windsor Castle: a real-life fairy tale
Walking into Windsor Castle was like stepping into one of my childhood princess fantasies—except real. Scale, detail, purity abundant…Honestly, I’m in awe. We went twice but the first time, it was closed.
But what about the second time? We went to see the changing of the guard ceremony. I always picture them in their iconic red uniforms, but since it's fall, they're wearing gray coats. Not that iconic, but hey, practical. Watching them march was surreal – it was so precise, almost robotic. But I can't help but feel a little sad for them. They stand there, stoic and serious, while we treat them like a tourist attraction. I even tried whispering to a guy at Windsor Castle, “What the hell are you guarding?” Of course, he didn't answer, but his pacing gave me a clue – probably just stretching his legs.
What about their stomping feet? like Nutcracker meets military reality. They were so disciplined, so precise, but I couldn't shake the thought: What would it be like to be them, to be part of this tradition that was both revered and somewhat objectified?
No photos but lots of memories
Here’s the thing about Windsor Castle – they don’t allow photos inside, which made me sad at first. I wanted to capture every bit of its beauty. I mean there is one GBPThe adult admission fee is US$33 (approximately 2,500 pesos), and you can take a tour inside and take some photos as a souvenir. But honestly? As I started walking I realized that no photo could do it justice.
The interior is like something out of a dream. think bridgetonturn the glam to 11, sprinkle some game of Thrones Armor, and then bam – you’ve got Windsor Castle. Imagine an entire suit of armor plated in gold and engraved with the most intricate details. The rooms feel like the rooms in the most elaborate period drama you've ever seen, except it's not a set – it's real. These are not just for show; they are used in actual combat. There's even dad-sized armor which I find really interesting, I've always thought a knight would be appropriate, the thought of someone charging into battle wearing that? Crazy.
Everything there carries so much history, so much weight. I felt small in the best way, like I was standing in the middle of something eternal. There is a story around every corner and I live for it. The history nerd and wannabe royal in me is thriving. I can't take pictures but those mental snapshots burn Get into my brain forever.
Forever a part of my heart
London not only met my expectations – it gave me something deeper. Walking through Windsor Castle, I felt like my younger self came alive again. I am so happy and proud dreaming of the queen and the palace. Sharing this with Marcus will make things better.
Even though I didn't get to see the Queen, it was everything I could have hoped for. London now holds this special place in my heart, not only as a city I visited, but as a dream I had to live in. People of Earth, if you ever get the chance to wander those palace halls, I hope you will be as amazed as I am.
