How to Get Beautiful Skin in 6 Easy Steps

Beautiful skin starts with a clean diet. But what if your diet isn’t perfect? Here’s the 6-step skincare regimen for the rest of us.

How to Get Beautiful Skin (The Grow Network)

How to Get Beautiful Skin

First off, I want to start off with a disclaimer: This is what I found through trial and error to work for my skin. Everyone’s skin is different, what works for me may not work for you. I am by no means a trained dermatologist.

Another thing to keep in mind is that while a lot of issues (such as acne) can be caused by hormones and general hygiene, I firmly believe the main reason is diet. 100% Eating clean and drinking plenty of water is the ultimate skin care solution.

However, I won’t be forever young and brownies won’t eat themselves, so I’ll discuss how to take care of your skin if your diet isn’t perfect.

your skin type

First, it’s helpful to identify your skin type and what you specifically want to target (acne, wrinkles, dark circles, etc.) so you can find products that will help those specific areas.

Here are the three basic skin types and a short definition of each to help you understand your own skin type:

  • Oily skin: Glossy skin often has large pores and can be prone to blackheads and acne due to overproduction of the sebaceous (oil-producing) glands.
  • dry skin: Face feels tight after cleansing, usually pores become smaller. Dry skin can also be prone to fine lines, flaking, and red spots.
  • combination skin: Your T-zone may be slightly oily, while your cheeks are drier and have a few dry spots. This is the most common skin type, with about 70% of women saying they have combination skin.

I personally have combination skin and I mostly deal with acne.

6 Steps to Beautiful Skin

1. Wash your face

When I first started getting acne, I realized maaaaaaybe I should wash my face.I started using the random facial cleanser my dad had in the bathroom every once in a while, but washing my face Every Seems like too much work at night. Eventually, though, I started to take it seriously and tried a few face washes before finding one that actually suited my skin. Oh boy, are there a lot of face washes and cleansers out there? You’ll find face washes that hydrate, exfoliate, and who knows what else. The possibilities are endless!

I may write several times but find a facial cleanser with natural ingredients Very important. Remember, your face is very sensitive, so I don’t recommend using that cheap face wash with harsh ingredients that you find at the dollar store. If you can’t name the ingredients, you should probably put it back on the shelf and keep looking.

Side note: There is debate as to whether people with acne-prone skin should do this exfoliation their face or not. Some say it helps unclog pores, others say that using abrasives on the face can lead to more breakouts. It’s up to you to decide if you want to do this, but I don’t because it’s just another step in a long enough routine.

2. Toning

Next, I like to use tonerI didn’t really know toning existed until I fell down a rabbit hole on YouTube a few years ago and found a video of one of my favorite makeup artists declaring the importance of toning. I went to a nearby natural grocer ASAP and found a toner that contained witch hazel and cucumber.

Now, you might be wondering what toner is. In short, it’s a cleanser that you rub on your face to further unclog pores, restore skin’s natural pH balance, hydrate and help draw out excess oil. Additionally, witch hazel has various other benefits such as reducing eye puffiness, fighting acne, and slowing aging. However, if you plan to use a toner, I would recommend using an alcohol-free toner as using alcohol on your face can be very harmful and can dry out your skin.

3. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturizing

Well, back to 13-year-old Kimber, she can barely commit to washing her face. I started noticing that my skin felt tight and dry after washing, so I turned to the internet for help and it told me I needed to buy a moisturizer.

Infused with natural ingredients like Canadian Maple, this organic anti-aging moisturizer delivers guaranteed results. Lots of women swear by this stuff!

At the time, for some reason I couldn’t explain, moisturizer was the bane of my existence. I’d rather be a wrinkled piece of leather than a moisturizer, so I started experimenting with different oil-based serums.Unfortunately, I used it wrong and I ended up giving myself more more acne than before

Oh my gosh…I finally gave in and started trying different brands of moisturizers until I found one I really liked. I’m not sure what has changed, but now I really like moisturizers. You could drown me in moisturizer and I would die happy!

So, after the toner dries, I apply moisturizer.

The possibilities are endless with moisturizers, but I recommend finding A vitamin E or vitamin C inside. Vitamin E reduces the appearance of acne scars, while vitamin C boosts collagen production, which fights wrinkles and fine lines, among many other benefits.

While moisturizers can be very expensive, it’s especially important to find a high-quality, natural moisturizer.

Think about it: This product is designed to be absorbed by your skin.

4. Local treatment

While washing, toning, and hydrating helped my acne, I needed more help.Again, I was watching a YouTuber talk about her skincare routine, and she mentioned overnight On-site treatment. This was perfect because unlike most spot treatments I had heard about at the time, this one was clear and didn’t need to be washed off. All I have to do is put it on my worst and go to bed without worrying about it. A key ingredient that makes this product so effective is salicylic acid, which reduces the size and redness of any pimple overnight.

5. Rose water

when i think about it i will wet my face with some rose waterfor its various excellent anti-acne and anti-inflammatory properties.

However, while spot treatments and rose water have worked wonders for my acne, I’ve noticed that when I avoid dairy and eat minimal sugar, my skin is clearer.

6. Final step

Finally, since I’m blonde and my brows are sparse and lightly pigmented, as the last step in my routine, I rub some Cold Pressed Castor Oil to My Eyebrows。 Castor Oil contains essential fatty acids, protein and vitamin E, and when applied to brows, it stimulates blood circulation for thicker, fuller brows. It takes a few months to see results, but it’s definitely worth the wait.

How can you skip this whole routine and still have beautiful skin?

Some people may need to put in more effort to manage their skin, while others can do less. My mom never does anything to her face, and her skin is amazing, while I’m here to study skin care and create complex routines to keep my skin in perfect condition.

what is the difference? My mom eats a very clean diet (no processed foods, very little wheat or dairy, almost no sugar). what about me? Well, I wouldn’t say no to a Grammy’s homemade cake!

There are so many factors that determine your skin type and the issues you’ll be dealing with, but at the end of the day, the important thing is not to focus too much on any blemishes and to be happy with the skin you have.

what do you think?
