What is the new “Cinderella”?
This version portrays the heroine as a budding tailor. Cabello’s Cinderella didn’t want to participate in the dance, but wanted to find investors for her business.
Her stepmother Vivienne (played by Idina Menzel) did not want her to attend because she was worried that it would embarrass her family, but Hinders knew she needed to go there to start her own life.
Thankfully, the fairy godfather Fab G (Billy Potter) came to help her attend the prom, first put her in business attire, and then realized that she should show off her gorgeous gown.
However, when she arrived, Cinderella got more than she wanted because the prince (Nicholas Galizina) showed interest in her.
In this version, the evil stepmother did not try to keep Cinderella away from the prince. Instead, Vivian pushed her stepdaughter to help her family by marrying the royal family.
However, Cinderella wanted to stand on her feet instead of belonging to her stepmother or the public as a princess.

The original soundtrack contains some original music, but is dominated by new versions of popular music that fans are familiar with and love.
“Jukebox Musical” songs include Janet Jackson’s “Rhythm Nation”, Queen’s “Somebody To Love”, Madonna’s “Material Girl” and Jennifer Lopez’s “Let’s Be Loud” by Glory Created by Asia Estefan.
