The avid couple tied the knot on the train and enjoyed a “dream come true” wedding.

Laura Dale and Jane Magnet, from Surrey They were selected from more than 150 competing newlyweds who won their wedding in Avanti West Coast Service.

The couple hoped to get married nearly two years ago, but it was postponed due to the combined effects of the coronavirus pandemic, finances and logistics.

When their special day finally arrived on Tuesday, they were in Euston, London Before boarding the Pandolino carriage decorated with flowers.

The two walked down the aisle and married Avanti West Coast train manager and former pastor Peter Davis.

They invited 18 guests, including Ms. Dell’s two sisters, who had not been seen since the beginning of the virus crisis.

Avanti West Coast provided a wedding breakfast, and the couple cut off their train-themed wedding cake before friends and family gave speeches.

Ms. Dell, 29, said: “As a train fan, today’s dream comes true. Jane and our friends and family celebrate our wedding with us at high speed.

“Train is an important part of my life. When Jane and I met for the first time, we took the West Coast Main Line to the United States for a video game conference. Telford We often travel on the boat with friends Birmingham Comics festival.
