The Asia Pacific Islander Heritage Month celebration kicked off May 1 at the Seattle Center Armory—the first day of National Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month.

This year’s event features five hours of programming, including Alan Sugiyama humming and eating competition, dance troupe, martial arts, music and more.
