- corn – The tastiest corn is sweet white corn, which cooks quickly and evenly, but you can use any fresh cob you like. At the grocery store, look for the husk that wraps tightly around the cob, and the fringe (the string at the top of the husk) that has a slightly sticky and brown texture. Avoid peeling the husk to inspect the corn, as it will shorten storage life. You can also use frozen corn on the cob.

- Prepare. Remove husks and threads.place tripod inside of – instant pot. Pour in water. Place shucked corn in the Instant Pot.
- Pressure cook. Close the lid, turn the pressure valve to the sealing position, and cook the corn in the Instant Pot.
- release. When the timer goes off, immediately turn the dial to the vent position for a quick pressure release.
- Serve. Use with caution clamp Remove corn from pressure cooker. Top with butter and season with salt and pepper.

storage instructions
- shop: To store leftovers in the refrigerator, wrap each piece of corn in foil or a Ziploc bag and store in a vegetable crisper. Alternatively, cut cooked kernels off the cob and store them in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Reheat: Place a damp paper towel around each ear of corn and microwave for 1-2 minutes. For more flavor, use the oven instead. Wrap each piece of corn in buttered aluminum foil and heat in a 350°F oven for 10-15 minutes.You can also use leftover cores Instant Pot Corn Chowder or Avocado Corn Salad.
- freeze: Pressure cooker corn on the cob can be frozen for up to 3 months. Wrap each piece of corn in aluminum foil and place in a freezer-safe bag in the refrigerator. Thaw in the refrigerator and reheat as needed.
