Everynet is the world’s largest national LoRaWAN® network network operator, and together with Crown Castle today announced the launch of the national LoRaWAN® Internet of Things (IoT) network in the United States.

The first phase of Everynet’s national network deployment will include the first 36 metropolitan areas and major logistics corridors in the United States, and is expected to be put into use by the end of 2021. Through this deployment, Everynet has further consolidated its position as a leading provider of low-power broadband. Global Area Network (LPWAN) technology is already processing billions of messages.

Everynet’s neutral hosting business model enables mobile network operators (MNO), mobile virtual network operators (MVNO), application service providers (ASP), managed service providers (MSP) and Internet service providers (ISP) to provide operations Commercial-grade low-power wide-area (LPWA) IoT services to their customers. In addition to the US market, the Everynet network also operates in Brazil, Indonesia, Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, Puerto Rico, Ireland, and Iceland. Everynet has also joined the LoRa Alliance Global Association, which provides roaming services to more than 27 countries/regions around the world.

Lawrence Latham, CEO of Everynet, said:

“Expanding the U.S. market is an important part of our global development. Our ultra-low-cost network has spread all over the world, and we are happy to provide our CSP partners with a nationwide turnkey IoT network without capital expenditures.”

“The Everynet network provides carrier-grade connectivity, with built-in resilience, security, and meaningful SLA, without the need for our wholesale customers to provide network capital expenditures.”

In order to activate the network, Everynet will utilize Crown Castle’s tower assets. Crown Castle is the largest communications infrastructure provider in the United States. Crown Castle has more than 40,000 signal towers and nearly 80,000 miles of fiber optic lines, and has the existing infrastructure and deployment capabilities for the long-term construction of the network. Everynet’s 15-year commitment to ensure that LoRaWAN customers across the United States can easily go online on the network to profit from their deployment (such as smart sensors or monitoring tools).

We look forward to helping Everynet go online through the much-needed network,” Said Paul Reddick, vice president of strategy, business and product development at Crown Castle.

In order to realize the remote connection of IoT devices on the network, Everynet cooperated with Semtech, a leading supplier of high-performance analog and mixed-signal semiconductors, and created LoRa® technology, a remote low-power solution for IoT applications using the LoRaWAN standard .

“Our cooperation with Everynet dates back many years and spans many different regions. As a company, we are committed to helping our customers meet the challenges of the real world and making the world a better and more sustainable planet.” Semtech President and CEO Mohan Maheswaran said.

“Everynet’s network launch will allow more IoT applications and use cases that leverage LoRa to enter the U.S. market-from smart refrigeration and asset tracking to water conservation and utility management.”

LoRaWAN’s ecosystem based on open standards provides companies with hundreds of choices of devices and applications. The LoRaWAN radio frequency technology used by Everynet is a widely adopted long-range, low-power solution that helps build ultra-low-cost IoT projects worldwide. Its characteristics make Everynet’s network the best choice for end customers seeking reliability and longevity, especially in difficult environments with wireless connections.

The main uses of the Everynet network include:

  • Public utilities: Remote monitoring, maintenance and collection of applications related to water supply systems, substations, smart grid reclosers, transformers, LPG, and residential and commercial metering.
  • Supply chain logistics: Track and monitor key assets such as pallets, containers and cargo. By managing geographic location, cold chain monitoring, humidity, and shocks, companies can effectively receive real-time data on the movement, status, and arrival of assets through a complete supply chain.
  • Smart infrastructure: Applications used to check air quality and monitor the status of buildings and infrastructure, such as lighting, HVAC, water use and leak detection, carbon dioxide, occupancy sensors, and worker safety-all of which are safe to return to work after a pandemic Key components.

Everynet welcomes any platform provider, device manufacturer and solution provider through its Ethingz Ecosystem Partner Program.
