The 20-year-old stole a 20cm knife from a store and was shot by two police shooters. Striaham High Road stabbed two bystanders wearing fake suicide vests on Sunday, February 2, 2020.
Both of his victims survived.
Amman, originally rake Northwest London, has been under surveillance since his release HMP Belmarsh 10 days in advance.
He was sentenced to prison in November 2018 after pleading guilty to six counts of possession of documents containing terrorist information and seven counts of disseminating terrorist publications.
He was released in January 2020, and his three-year and four-month sentence has passed two-thirds.
His trial was conducted before a jury at the Royal Court of Justice in central London and was listed as lasting three weeks at the longest.
It is expected that Amman’s background, his time in prison, his activities between his release and the atrocities, and police surveillance will be reviewed.
Previous post-mortem examinations recorded the cause of death as shock, bleeding, and gunshot wounds to the neck and abdomen.
