After the Covid-19 test was negative, the Irish Minister of the Environment planned to start over to Cop26.
On Sunday, he said that the second test was negative, so he now plans to travel to Scotland to attend a climate change conference.
Mr. Ryan was originally scheduled to go to Glasgow on Sunday, but will now go on Monday.
A statement from the Minister’s Department stated that the HSE (Health Services Executive) recommended a second test after the initial positive result.
The statement added: “In this case, the public health recommendation is to cancel the notification of the case, notify the close contact, and the person can continue to conduct business.”
“Minister Ryan now plans to travel to Glasgow tomorrow (Monday) for the 26th police meeting.
“Minister Ryan did not show symptoms at any time. Following the recommendations of the organizers of Cop26, as a precautionary measure, he underwent preliminary tests.
“After receiving the preliminary results, he complied with all HSE agreements, including self-isolation and notifying close contacts.”
Last week, the Irish government announced a plan to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 51% by the end of the decade.
The 125 billion euro plan will change the way people travel, heat, use public transportation and produce food throughout the country.
