This transaction valued at tens of millions of dollars provides a combat-proven defense solution for drone threats.
The ELTA Systems Group of the Israel Aerospace Industries Corporation (IAI) is delivering dozens of unmanned aerial vehicle escort (CUAS) systems to a country in South Asia, valued at tens of millions of U.S. dollars (USD). The unique multi-sensor multi-layer ELI-4030 Drone Guard system is one of the most powerful battlefield verification systems in the world, providing the ability to detect, classify, identify and defeat drone attacks. IAI develops and manufactures the Drone-Guard system from start to finish, including advanced radar functions.
The Drone Guard system can handle hundreds of targets at the same time and provide solutions for multiple evolving threats around the world. The advantages of the system stem from the use of high-resolution 3D X-band radar (the key to drone detection), integrated COMIN ESM, multi-channel interference, and high-resolution EO/IR with integrated AI functions. Drone Guard is a comprehensive solution for protecting all types of facilities and mobile forces.
Yoav Tourgeman, Executive Vice President of IAI and CEO of ELTA, Said: “IAI is proud to provide drone guard systems as a defense solution to counter air threats in a county in South Asia. The multi-sensor, multi-layer Drone-Guard system has operated hundreds of units worldwide for drones. Attack threats provide an effective solution. Drone Guard provides remote detection and automatic classification of drones. It combines artificial intelligence and automated processing to achieve fully automated drone detection.”
