According to the report, military cargo planes fired signal flare, which may interfere with any missile fire that hits them, and also used corkscrews to land to avoid potential attacks.

In recent days, when Western countries tried to evacuate people from Afghanistan, they have stepped up their warnings about possible attacks on airports. The United States and the United Kingdom have singled out ISIS-K, the Islamic State’s subsidiary in Afghanistan.
James Heappey, Minister of the British Armed Forces, Thursday warning There may be an “imminent deadly attack” at Kabul Airport, and people should stop trying to get to the airport.
