The King Donuts in Rainier Valley will be closed from August 5th to 17th so that owners can spend the annual family holiday.
When it reopens on August 18, it will become a donut shop with no teriyaki products or laundromat.
A Facebook post said: “We are happy to continue the spirit of King Donuts and what it means to our community by operating the laundromat and hot food business for as long as possible. This has proven to be unsustainable. Laundromats It has been closed for a while, and when we reopen, we will no longer provide hot food in a way that many of you are familiar with and love. Like many catering services, we have been working hard to balance costs, labor supply, etc. Mathematics is OK Nowhere.”
Their new business hours are Monday to Friday from 7 am to 1 pm, and 7 am until they are sold out on weekends.
