I am a big fan of homemade dressings. This is easy, affordable, and another great way to reduce household waste. In summer, I like light citrus seasoning. This lemon dijon balsamic vinegar is my personal favorite. I have been making this for years and can be used on everything from salads to roasted vegetables and potatoes. You can make a large batch and keep it in the refrigerator, or just prepare enough for anything you make. It takes less than 5 minutes and is delicious. Not the best dressing photo, but hopefully it will give you an idea of what you are going to do. The most important thing is that it tastes really good. I hope you like it. This is a recipe for homemade lemon Dijon balsamic vinegar.
Lemon Dijon Balsamic Vinegar Recipe
raw material
- 3 tablespoons Avocado oil
- 2 tbsp Walnut oil
- 1 tbsp White balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard (I like this)
- 1 lemon
- Salt and pepper
Combine the oil, vinegar, mustard, and lemon juice and stir or shake until combined. Season with salt and pepper and enjoy! Some recipes indicate that I use whatever vinegar I have on hand, sometimes rice wine vinegar or white wine vinegar. If you don’t have walnut oil, avocado oil is good (olive oil is fine too, but it has a more unique flavor than avocado oil and will change the flavor of the seasoning).
