LinkedIn has added three new courses to its free resource center, where people can learn how to market themselves and their businesses.
Launched last year, LinkedIn Learning Labs offers basic to intermediate courses covering marketing practices across a variety of industries.
Course materials are presented in a step-by-step learning path and are available on demand for people to complete at their own pace.
It is estimated that each course will take an hour or less to complete from start to finish.
This resource center is the ideal solution for marketing professionals who want to learn about LinkedIn best practices, improve their advertising strategies, and stay updated with new marketing tools.
At launch, LinkedIn Learning Labs was strictly advertising-oriented, but now also has courses covering organic marketing strategies.
Below is an overview of what’s available in the new course.
3 new courses in LinkedIn Learning Labs
The following courses have been added to LinkedIn Learning Labs:
1. Build an Organic Presence Using a LinkedIn Page (Basic, 20 minutes)
In this course, you’ll learn how to create and maintain an active LinkedIn page that you can use to develop your brand’s unique voice.
This course starts by answering the basic questions of why you should have a LinkedIn page, then teaches you how to create a page, how to keep it active, and how to measure its success.
2. Build an Omnichannel Content Marketing Strategy (Intermediate, 30 minutes)
This course teaches you how to balance organic and paid content to guide your audience through the customer journey.
It starts by explaining the concept of “omnichannel” marketing, and then teaches you how to use that concept to create and implement a content strategy.
3. Creative Design for LinkedIn (Basic, 10 minutes)
In this course, you’ll learn how to design visually appealing ideas to engage LinkedIn members with your content.
It starts by explaining why good ideas are important to LinkedIn marketing, and then teaches you the key components of creative design.
What you get when you complete a course
After completing all components of the course, you will receive a digital certificate. The certificate can be displayed on your LinkedIn profile or downloaded as a PDF to display elsewhere on the web.
Each course is run through SkillJar, but you can access them using your LinkedIn account.
