Police are investigating after a man was stabbed in an alley in the international district of Chinatown.
The 49-year-old victim told police that when he was walking through an alley near Maynard Avenue and Lane Street at about 2:15 am on August 6, a man hit him on the head and more Stabbed him twice before passing through the victim’s pocket. The victim told the police that he could escape before passing out an hour or two.
The victim was severely cut in his arm and stabbed in his chest and back. He described the location of the attack and said the suspect was related to a makeshift tent on a pile of rocks in the alley. The medical staff sent the victim to the Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
The police found the location of the attack, collected evidence at the scene, and obtained information about possible suspects.
