Manager account-level reporting is now available in Google Ads

Institutional, Enterprise, Multi-Account Rejoice!

Simplified reporting dashboards for all your accounts are now in one view.

Google is rolling out Manager Account (MCC) level reporting for all Google Ads users.

Changes reported

So far, you can only view reports at the individual account level. If you’re limited by this perspective, you know the struggle.

All the extra time and effort transferred between accounts to assess performance really adds up.

Another problem with the personal account view is that it is difficult for advertisers to easily spot potential problems and opportunities.

With this change, you can now manager account level. Below is an example of an MCC-level dashboard.

Dashboard specific updates

In addition to manager account-level visibility, Google Ads has updated and improved other dashboard features.

These changes will make the dashboard faster to view and easier to use:

  • Overall Change Date Range and Dashboard Filters
  • Add conditional formatting, rich formatting capabilities, and interactive table cards
  • Download reports faster and with higher quality
  • Dynamically resize dashboard cards and layouts
  • Create a dashboard card by duplicating an existing report

How to Find the MCC Dashboard

Accessing your dashboard is easy to find.

First, go to “Reports” at the top of your Google Ads manager account.

If you’re not sure where to start building your dashboard, sample dashboards can give you a good visual start.

Being able to view specific metrics at the manager account level is a game changer for advertisers.

This new Google Ads feature has many benefits, including:

  • Save time on account management
  • Proactively identify potential issues or opportunities that could benefit multiple clients
  • More efficient account management
  • Ability to download reports in higher quality

The last point about downloading reports in higher quality should not be overlooked.

If you work for an agency or enterprise-level company, you can quickly display a high-level snapshot of how your company is doing.

with C-Suite executives, Or everyone above the account manager level, sometimes it’s hard to get their attention.

Having a high-level report to pinpoint where opportunities are or where you need more time to focus can give them enough information in a short amount of time.

generalize

The manager account dashboard view is available to all advertisers. If you’ve already created a personal account dashboard, you can start replicating these views at the account level from there.

If you’re creating a dashboard from scratch, consider ways you can incorporate specific metrics that make sense for the view you’re creating. You can make multiple dashboards for different groups of people and include the data that is most meaningful to them.
