The couple visited the Freedom Task Force at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in New Jersey on Thursday.
The base currently houses 10,000 Afghan refugees who are supported by the Ministry of Defense.
During their visit, they stopped in front of a classroom full of children learning English.
The couple helped students practice with many children, and they were eager to impress the royal family with phrases like “It’s nice to meet you.”

The spokesperson added that the Duke and Duchess also led the class to perform the head, shoulders, knees and toes, “What they shared is also one of their son’s favorites.”

The Freedom Task Force was activated in August to coordinate the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.
There are currently more than 1,200 service personnel stationed at the base to provide support to Afghans and their families.
