A group of women in Fort Collins, Colorado, USA showed a man on the beach on TikTok, saying they were “showing off” their body and comparing bikinis with “pornography,” and it went viral on the Internet.
User @ggarbagefairy posted two videos about the incident and a follow-up video on TikTok. She said her name is Mia. Cumulatively, her three videos about the incident have received more than 4 million views. In one of the videos, a girl in her friend group stated that most of them were just over 18.
The man later responded in his TikTok video, refusing to apologize for trying to “defend and protect young eyes.”
In the first TikTok released on Tuesday, a man appeared to walk up to the group of women on the beach and said, “Why are you dressed like this?”
Then he told the group that they need to “consider young eyes” because “they don’t need to watch pornography.”
“You are showing off your stuff,” he added. “You look around, you are the only thing that stands out because your whole body is on display.”
Then the group of people can be heard laughing in the background. “I didn’t show off anything, don’t look at me,” one woman said, and another asked, “Why are you looking at me? Close your eyes.”
The man said he has the right to contact the organization on this matter because “the United States has free will and freedom of speech.”
“If the people of God do not stand up, then our society will be ruined for lack of morality,” he added.
He continued, “You show your body because you are thinking,’Am I pretty enough.'”
These women could be heard asking him to leave, some of them called him “embarrassing,” and another asked if he would approach a man in a bathing suit in the same way. He said he wouldn’t, because “That makes a big difference.”
The argument continued in the second TikTok, showing another lady approaching and telling the group, “What you wear doesn’t matter, not because of what he said, but because you need to value yourself. If you value yourself, it’s important things.”
in a The third vibrato The next day, Mia showed a photo that allegedly showed the group of women in bikinis. “They are not thong bikinis, it doesn’t matter if they have them. They are really ordinary bikinis… There are a lot of people wearing the same thing, it’s a public beach,” she said.
In the same video, Mia said that the person shown is a TikTok user and his name is Logan Dorn.
Dorn later released his own TikTok, which seemed to confirm that he was the person in the video. He said he wanted to share his story and respond to allegations that he “harassed” and “rebuked” women.
The man said that his family on holiday with him said that they wanted to move to another place on the beach because the women “behaved too much.”
He said that he also felt the need to “defend and protect young eyes” because he was “exposed to pornography when he was young,” which “destroyed him,” he said.
“I won’t apologize,” he added in TikTok. “Society is in such a low morale.”
Neither Mia nor Dorn immediately responded to Insider’s request for comment.
