Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee criticizes the president Joe Biden Check the watch at the repatriation ceremony of the American soldiers killed in Afghanistan.
Huckabee, who briefly ran for the Republican presidential nomination in 2016 Twitter Sunday called the moment “shocking” and compared it to similar incidents involving the late president George H.W. Bush.

The former governor wrote: “Many of us remember that 41-year-old President Bush checked his watch during a debate and how bad it looked (even though we all had the same opinion about that debate.) “
“But it’s shocking and will be remembered,” Huckabee said.
He was referring to a famous moment during the 1992 presidential election, when President Bush was debating Bill ClintonAt the time, he was the governor of Arkansas and the Democratic presidential candidate, as well as the independent candidate Rosperro.
Just before an audience asked how the candidate’s national debt would affect them personally, Bush was photographed by a camera looking at his watch. He would later say that he was thinking: “There are only 10 minutes of nonsense left.” This moment is widely regarded as Bush’s unforced mistake, and he lost to Clinton in the election.

Biden has received significant criticism on social media, and he is apparently watching his watch with conservatives outside of Huckabee.
Republican Rep. Ronnie Jackson, who represents the 13th Congressional District of Texas, wrote on Twitter: “Obviously, our commander-in-chief has better things to do than commemorating the 13 soldiers who died during his tenure. Do? I am disgusted! God bless these heroes and their loved ones. They deserve better.”
During a visit to the headquarters of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on Sunday to listen to a briefing on Hurricane Ida, Biden briefly talked about the killed U.S. military.
Biden said: “We met with the families of 13 dead heroes in Afghanistan who died in the service of our country.”
“When we pray for the best people in Louisiana, let us pray for them too,” he said.
