After beating the German team 2-0 in the round of 16, the Three Lions thrived on the road for the first and only time in this Pan-European Championship.
In the quarter-finals against Ukraine in Rome on Saturday, Harry Kane scored twice. Harry Maguire and Jordan Henderson also scored 4-0 in the game to help them. Return to Wembley.
The National Stadium hosted approximately 20,000 group matches and more than 40,000 German victories. The semi-finals on Wednesday will welcome more than 60,000 fans.
“It’s incredible to play at Wembley. All of our group matches and German matches are special and we need to participate in special matches,” Mount said.
“I’m sitting on the bench. It’s the semi-finals at Wembley. I hope we can make it to the final. This has been our goal from the beginning and our focus.

“This will be a special day, and there will be more fans there to create an atmosphere.
“You are in the lion’s den, you must come and perform. Obviously we will do our best.”
If the number of spectators at Wembley is close to the level reached against Germany, Denmark will face a considerable atmosphere and a special team.
Since 1996, England has not lost its way to the European semifinals, and it has been three years since the obstacle that fell in the World Cup in Russia.
When asked about their achievements, Mount smiled and said, “It’s a bit special.
“At the time the head coach said in the locker room that these are three semi-finals in three years, so now our focus is to go further, win the game, and then enter the final.
“We had a goal at the beginning of the game, and we are still working towards that goal. This is another step in the right direction.
“What a great performance, there are many positive factors in this game, we can see some things, but this is a special game, but now we will focus on the next game.”
England will be the favorite of the bookmakers that won on Wednesday, but it should not be forgotten that Denmark is the last team to beat Southgate men at home.
On the night when Maguire was sent off, they won 1-0 at Wembley in the National League in October and a 0-0 draw at Copenhagen last month.
“We played them a while ago,” Mount said. “We know what they are about, so every game will be tough.
“You are in the semifinals, so you have to bring everything. Just like them.
“They will be passionate and we must prepare for the fight. This is what we are going to do now.
“We have to recover now, the game is very hot tonight, we controlled a small part of the game, but it still has to pay a price, we have to recover and prepare for the next game.”
Mount was one of two changes to defeat the German team on Saturday. He watched the game just separated from Ben Chilwell from the bench.
“It’s frustrating,” he said of the time he left the group after contact with Billy Gilmore of Scotland, who tested positive for Covid-19.
“I have experienced similar things, but for me and Chilly, we have to stay strong, look at the big picture, focus on when we can get out of isolation and what we can do, and, as I said before, the goal of the whole game.
“We did it. We stayed strong and worked hard every day to get me out. We played very well tonight in the game. All our hard work obviously paid off.”
