Planning, designing, picking fabrics, choosing color palettes, tweaking and finalizing took months, but now is the time My fall capsule collection with ABLE is online. These 10 pieces I designed with the ABLE team are so exciting to wear again and again. We focus on timeless designs that are comfortable and wearable. I wanted to create pieces that could be worn together, so you could match the pieces in the collection in many different ways.
We prioritize inclusive sizing (with the exception of only one item in XXS-3X) and sustainable clothing, not only about the clothing materials, but also the people who make them. ABLE is a pioneer in ethical manufacturing in the fashion industry, publish their wages, and ensure that the women who make their goods receive a living wage. ABLE also provides training, financial security and benefits so they can thrive at work, at home and in the community.
I describe this collection as “fashion with a purpose”. I am passionate about empowering women to feel confident, use their voices to make a difference, and live their lives in an authentic and purposeful way. This collection was created with that in mind, and I hope it brings as much joy as possible to everyone who wears it, as I did with the incredible ABLE team in creating it.

Marlin Sweater
Marlin Sweater Made of 100% organic cotton (GOTS certified). It’s a chunky stitch knit with a faux collar button placket collar and faux horn buttons. This is the perfect length to put away or put down. You can’t go wrong with either style in nautical stripes or minimal neutrals. Sure to be a wardrobe staple, it’s one of my absolute favorites from the collection because it’s so soft and comfortable. It’s a bit slouchy, but not too big.
Marlin Sweater Fits perfectly. I’m wearing a small size, which is a bit too big, but it doesn’t feel too big. Pair it with jeans, straight-leg pants, leggings, or even layered dresses. It is available in striped and mushroom colors.
Nora Quilted Jacket
Nora Quilted Jacket is a special one. This is the ultimate coat for fall, in a soft quilted jersey with a vintage wash. This jacket feels like it’s been in your wardrobe for years. You won’t want to take it off, it’s super comfortable and goes with everything in your wardrobe, from jeans to dresses. The side pockets make it practical and wearable, a true wardrobe hero. Size up for a slightly looser fit.
It’s subtle, but I’ve styled both jackets in xs and small to show the difference in size. The first photo is small in size, the second is xs.
Newport Tee
classic update, Newport Tee Soft cotton fabric creates a Henley vibe, while chic stripes create a relaxed silhouette. It didn’t fit, but it wasn’t too big, just right under a sweater or jacket, but it stood out on its own. It has a button fly which is great for layering. I wear a small one.

emma shirt A truly versatile blouse featured in a lightweight silhouette made from lightweight cotton voile. It’s perfect for those hot fall days and can also be worn under a jacket, sweater or blazer. Open V-neck and wavy sleeves with elastic at the opening for easy wearing multiple ways. Dress it up all season long. Perfect for pregnancy, breastfeeding and postpartum use, it is spacious in size and can be easily folded or not.

it doesn’t get any easier rose dress. Just put it on and you’ll get an overall look wherever you go. Set boots

Wear yours with jeans, pants, dresses and skirts. They’re versatile and chic, with side zip details for easy on and off. These are small and narrow at the toes. I recommend at least half a size up. I was a size 7 and went up to a 7.5.

A note on packaging
I’ve been working with the ABLE team to help them move to more sustainable packaging, and they’ve taken this change very seriously and have done a lot of thought and research. From early 2023, all of their products will be shipped in compostable and/or biodegradable packaging. Until then, their partners will utilize the remainder of their current packaging so as not to create additional waste.
