I blinked, my hair is too long (after so much hair loss after childbirth, there is still a lot of baby hair regrowth)! I finally got a haircut this week, but in the meantime I managed to stay fairly healthy. I think the key is to minimize washing/heating styling and always use thermal protectants. I often change the products I use. It helps prevent accumulation, which is especially helpful for my straight and fine hair. I usually wash my hair 2-3 times a week and do at least one hair mask, usually on Sundays. Now my routine is JVN Shampoo and Conditioner twice a week, and then Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal Shampoo + Adwoa Beauty Blue Tansy Mask once a week. This is my favorite cleansing and hair care product.
JVN Moisturizing Shampoo with conditioner: My biggest struggle with shampoo is to find products that will not irritate the scalp. This product from JVN is gentle and moisturizing. The air conditioning is also great.Another shampoo I really like is Innersense shower gel. Both are color safe. A professional tip for shampoo and conditioning, shampoo is only applied to the scalp (it will rinse from the end), while the conditioner is only applied to the half of the head to the end.
Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal Shampoo: This shampoo is very suitable for dry, itchy or irritated scalp. It has the most amazing texture, is light and fluffy, and has a cooling sensation when applied. I like to use it on days when I also do a deep conditioning mask.
Adwoa Beauty Blue Tansy Mask: The moisturizing effect of this mask is very good, it won’t weigh down my fine hair. Just apply it from the head down to the end. It is really suitable for colored hair!
Dae Hair Cactus Flower Conditioner: I spray this every time I wash my hair. This is a very good heat protectant, and the product can be used for a long time.
Beauty Edit Detangle & Massage Hairbrush: I always use Wet brush, Until i get this Wow, game changer. When I wet the brush, my hair never gets tangled, and my hair is really long.
Dyson hair dryer: Full transparency, this is part of my long-term partnership with Dyson. It is expensive, and I am someone who has never used a hair dryer. My hair is very long and usually needs to be dry forever, but this cuts the time by half, and my hair is very shiny afterwards. I used a hair dryer to blow my hair, and with this, my hair looks better than ever. So my comment is that it definitely works, but it is an investment! I have been following any Black Friday sales.
