I couldn’t resist sharing some photos and recaps of my garden party Kelly Road Gardens (Woodstock) a few weeks ago. It was such a magical night, after rain forecast the previous week we ended up having the most magical night, sunny and not a single drop of rain. It was great to gather old friends and meet so many new ones. I was nervous before the event, but as the night wore on, my nervousness faded away (after my toast, haha).

I have to admit I really like an excuse to dress up for an evening because I feel like these occasions are rare in between these days.
We sipped specialty cocktails all night, The Bee’s Knees with gin, lemon juice and Kelly Way Gardens honey syrup, and Berry Basil Margaritas with mixed garden berries and basil. On the menu, the chef and his team use ingredients straight from the garden to create heirloom tomato bread, as well as vegetable hand rolls and Vermont goat cheese toast. Dessert was a mix of cookies, mini cheesecakes and lavender macarons.
The gardens are absolutely incredible, we were able to walk around and visit, including my favorite, the Gourd Tunnel. Kelly Way has everything from vegetables and fruits to flowers to show off for the party. The Kelly Way team and master gardeners have done an excellent job planning and maintaining the space.
The cocktail party was held mostly under the vines in the garden and we moved inside to the Red Barn for dessert and then everyone brought theirs Follain Discovery Kit (By the way, it has everything you need and makes a great gift!).
The night was full of laughter, great conversation and great music (this is the playlist). It confirms what I already know, this community is full of incredible people and I hope to have the opportunity to do more of this in the future.
