The National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum (NAPAWF) announced two new senior appointments on August 17, with Tashfia Hasan as policy director and Christine Nguyen as policy manager.
“They will help lead and execute NAPAWF’s policy advocacy goals for reproductive justice, immigrant rights and economic justice at the national, state and local levels,” said Yvonne Hsu, NAPAWF Chief Policy and Government Affairs Officer.
Nguyen has previously worked on policy at The Fairness Project and the United States of Care. She graduated from George Washington University with a Master of Public Health.
“After many years of working in organizations and health care policy, I am excited to join NAPAWF and work to provide health and economic justice for AAPI women and girls,” said Nguyen.
