On Tuesday, the number of new coronavirus infections reached 32,181 and 50 deaths were recorded.
There was a delay before the latest coronavirus data was made available to the public on the official website on Tuesday.
With 50 more deaths within 24 hours, the total number of deaths in the UK reached 132,535.
Separate data released by the UK National Bureau of Statistics showed that 156,000 people died in the UK and Covid-19 was mentioned on the death certificate.
As the vaccination continues, the ministers stated that the Covid-19 enhancement plan will be launched in September.
Experts from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunization (JCVI) have been preparing to make the final decision on the booster campaign.
The event will start on September 6.
NHS leaders plan to provide a third Covid shot to 30 million people over 50 years of age and clinically vulnerable.
The Prime Minister’s official spokesperson said: “We are still waiting for JCVI’s final recommendations on boosters.
“We are still very planning to launch the booster program in September.”
He added: “We have outlined our intention to ask us to be vaccinated in nightclubs and other venues, and we will provide details in the coming weeks.”
C.1.2 The variant was first discovered in May and has been found in six of the nine provinces in South Africa since August and Democratic Republic of Congo, Mauritius, Portugal, new Zealand And Switzerland.
