Gillian Sturgeon, 46, was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of an incident in a house in Kilwining. North Ayrshire Saturday, August 7.
The mother of the two children has been released and promised to appear in the Kirmarnock Sheriff’s Court later, but has not been confirmed.
A 50-year-old man was also arrested and charged for the same incident, and was released after promising to appear in court.

“He was released after promising to appear later in the Kilmarnock Sheriff’s Court.
“A complete report will be sent to the Prosecutor Finance.
“On Wednesday, August 11, a 46-year-old woman was arrested and charged after reporting an incident that occurred in a house in Kilwinning on Saturday, August 7 on Tuesday, August 10.
“She has been released and promised to appear in the Kilmarnock Sheriff’s Court later.
“A complete report will be sent to the Prosecutor Finance.”
