Pape Souare will play for the Crystal Palace Under-23 youth team in the preseason as the defender tried to resume his career after a car accident in 2016

Suarez has been engaged in a long-term fitness struggle since he was seriously injured in a car accident in 2016. After his contract expired in 2019, he left the palace and joined the French team Troyes.

The left-back now has no club anymore, and the palace invited him to participate in training because he tried to find a new team and resume his professional career.

Suarei’s car accident forced him to miss a year’s football game, and he worked hard to return to the Palace team.

However, the club is now keen to help him find a new club and he is training with their youth team.

Crystal Palace said in a statement: “Since the start of the preseason, Suarez has been training at the academy, which helps him stay healthy.”

“We support the defenders in finding new playing opportunities.

“This is a mutually beneficial arrangement because Suarez’s presence provides an extremely positive experience for the club’s young players.”
