Pilots of the Royal Thai Air Force conduct training through Rohde & Schwarz Communications

The Royal Thai Air Force’s new training aircraft will be equipped with Rohde & Schwarz’s R&S M3AR software-defined radio.

Rohde & Schwarz signed a contract with RV Connex to provide R&S M3AR software-defined multi-band airborne radio equipment for the new Textron Aerospace T-6C Texan II training aircraft of the Royal Thai Air Force (RTAF). The machine was called the T-6TH Royal Air Force.

“We have a long history of cooperation with RTAF, and we have been committed to providing secure communication solutions that meet national requirements,” explained Stefan Pleyer, vice president of Rohde & Schwarz’s Avionics Applications Division.

“Here, local content and local industry participation are key. RV Connex is a national partner and trusted teammate. With them, we bring commonality and applicability to RTAF’s secure communications. We understand our customers, And support them as a long-term reliable partner. RTAF knows that we keep our promises.”

The R&S M3AR multi-band, multi-mode, multi-purpose radio is the preferred solution for reliable transmission of mission-critical information, whether it is jet or propeller aircraft, helicopter or drone.
