A list of things I want to thank and express my gratitude on Thanksgiving-
- I wish myself and my family good health
As the saying goes, good health is the most important asset. We may desire worldly things, but in the end our health is our most precious asset, because if you are not healthy, you will not be able to enjoy anything.
2. Have a career you like
I am lucky to have a job that makes me feel satisfied and satisfied. As an educator, I feel that I can make a difference and I am happy to work in a school environment that I like. I also thank my husband for his work, the college experience of the older freshman, and the experience of the young freshman in high school.
3. Know how to keep a cat
If you have been following my blog, you will know that we have started to raise cats this year after having extensive experience in raising dogs since 2016. When my older one was preparing to go to college this fall, my younger one put her interest in raising cats instead of dogs. So far, we have raised 4 cats-Oliver Twist and Dodger came together, then Bon Bon, and finally Onynx, luckily she returned to her owner. It feels very fulfilling to provide temporary shelter for these abandoned pets and see them find a permanent home. They expressed so much love to us and made our home happy.
4. Love your husband and children
I am very fortunate to have a loving and caring husband, and a child who brings joy and happiness to our lives. I learned not to take things for granted, and to enjoy the beautiful memories that I leave with my family every day! Since she left in August, my elders came here from college for the first time, and our home and heart are full.
5. Friends and family
Although I do not have any big family here, the closest family is in Canada, and the others are in far away India, but I thank each of them and my friends here, they are like family. Without these cherished people in life, life will be incomplete.

6. Nature, outdoors and travel
God can’t be everywhere, so he puts people in our lives and the rich nature around us, so that we can see the goodness around us. Nature is best for leisure activities, physical/mental/mental health, reflective walks, quiet walks and silent meditation. I think the right simple breathing technique can bring us so much warmth and healing. Traveling has brought me so much joy and happiness because I like to visit new places and create beautiful memories with my family.
7. Food
Food provides us with energy, just like a car needs fuel. Healthy and delicious food not only tastes delicious, but also nourishes and nourishes our body. It is very important to pay attention to what you put on the table and the nutrients your trillions of cells get every day.
8. Weekend
Thank you very much for having a weekend every 5 days! They gave me a chance to relax and recharge in the coming week. They give me the opportunity to slow down my daily work instead of being a robot trying to balance the work at home. They give me time to do self-care, self-love, and leisure activities, which add hours and days to my life.
9. Books and music
Anything you do in your leisure time for pleasure will increase gratitude in life. I like reading books, blogging, listening to music and playing board games with my family.
10. My faith
My faith makes me stronger and strives to make me a better person. Believing that God is on our side gives us courage and humility. Faith taught me to live a balanced life, accepting the vices, virtues, and everything else of everyone including myself.
