Pirelli 2022: Rock star Brian Adams’s first look at the shooting calendar

Mr. Adams photographed Jennifer Hudson, Cher and Rita Ola for the 2022 calendar.

There were many stars on the past calendar, including Gigi Hadid, Serena Williams, Nicole Kidman, Uma Thurman and Emma Watson.

The theme of the 2022 calendar is on the road, where artists portray the lives of working musicians.

Each artist poses for a different scene that most musicians are familiar with.

Ms. Hudson was portrayed as “arriving at the show”, Cher was “in the green room”, and Ms. Ora was “downtime after the show.”

Turning to the theme of the calendar, Mr. Adams said: “On the road is where I have been for the past 45 years, because the life of a musician consists of roads, travels, waiting in hotels, and returning to the stage for a few hours.”

Cher, Grimes, Ms. Hudson, Normani, Ms. Ora, Bohan Phoenix, Iggy Pop, St. Vincent and Kali Uchis were filmed in various locations in Los Angeles, including at the Palace Theater and Chateau Marmont Hotel.

Adams followed in the footsteps of Anne Leibovitz, Helmut Newton and Mario Testino.

The calendar was first produced in 1963, and its content has been downplayed in the past few years.

In 2016, Ms. Leibovitz showed a significant breakthrough in well-dressed and accomplished women with vulgar shots related to the product.

Adams’s photographs have been published in the British editions of “Vogue”, “Vanity Fair” and “Mr. Vogue”.

He also shoots advertising and public relations activities for brands such as Hugo Boss and Fred Perry.

In September 2015, he received an honorary scholarship from the Royal Photographic Society of London for his work.
