Kaylee Staral, a sentinel intern at the Milwaukee Daily who participated in the parade, told CNN The incident occurred approximately 20 to 30 minutes after the parade.
“There were a lot of screams, we almost thought it was Santa Claus, but it was a red SUV and hit a lot of people,” Staral told CNN.
“In the small place where I was sitting in front of me, four people might have fallen down, so many people ran to check on them,” Staral said. “I believe the four people in front of me are still breathing, but they all fell. They didn’t move.”
According to Waukesha website, The parade is scheduled for November 21st from 4pm to 6pm. Parade 67 groups are involved, including several bands from local schools, as well as local dance and performing arts groups.
