President of Ukraine says Russia has nearly 100,000 troops near the border

Ukrainian President Volodmir Zelensky once stated that there are nearly 100,000 Russian Soldiers near the Ukrainian border and Western countries shared information about the activities of the Russian army with Kiev.

“I hope the world can now clearly see who really wants peace and who has close to 100,000 soldiers on our border,” he said in a video of his speech broadcast on his website on Wednesday.

The movement of Russian troops near the Ukrainian border has raised concerns about possible attacks. Moscow considers such proposals to be inflammatory and complains that NATO’s transatlantic alliance has increased its activities in the region.

On November 3, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense set the number of Russian troops near the Ukrainian border at 90,000.
