The primary election was held in Washington state on August 2 and included races for the US Senator and Congressional Districts 1, 7, 8 and 9.
The first round of election returns were released after 8pm on Election Day. These returns come from early-turned-in and tabulated ballots. Counties will release more results in the days following the election as more votes are counted.
The secretary of state has until August 19 to certify the results.
