Protesters opposed to vaccination clashed with police near Parliament Square

Earlier Scotland Yard stated that the police were responding to protesters in Parliament Square after people who participated in the anti-vaccination demonstration blocked the road.

The force wrote on Twitter: “We are responding to a demonstration in Parliament Square this afternoon. A group of people blocked the road that caused the traffic interruption.

“Officials were at the scene, talking with those who participated in the protest, and hoped to ease the congestion as soon as possible.”
