The Artists’ Project Earth (APE) released a new album to raise funds for environmental protection projects.
‘Ground wave‘Relive four songs by Kenny Young, Kenny Young is a songwriter, producer, musician and environmental activist. Died in April 2020. Including live recordings of “Under the Boardwalk”, and “The soul of the forest”.
Ground wave is usable On Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, iTunes and Bandcamp.
The other eight tracks in the new album come from some of Kenny’s best friends, reflecting the rich diversity of the human spirit and calling for an end to the war against nature.
Radicalism
Yang was born in 1941, co-authored 1961 Grammy Hall of Fame featured “Under the Boardwalk”, Has since been recorded by Drifters, Billy Joel and The Rolling Stones.
Subsequently, he turned his attention to environmental protection activities. He is committed to supporting indigenous rainforest communities to fight for land rights; helping people around the world affected by climate change; supporting cutting-edge environmental activists; and helping people affected by natural disasters.
APE was founded by Young in 2006 and is a UK——Registered charity Recruit internationally renowned musicians and artists through albums, concerts, art exhibitions and art-related projects to raise people’s awareness of music climate change And campaign funds and Disaster relief.
Young has produced six albums for APE’s family band Rhythms Del Mundo, including collaborations with Bob Dylan, Coldplay, Amy Winehouse, Radiohead, U-2, Beyoncé, Pharrell Top Cuban and African musicians cooperating with artists such as Williams and Arctic Monkey.
APE has supported about 400 projects in more than 30 countries in various fields such as climate justice, hydraulic fracturing and shale oil pollution, wildlife protection, agriculture and forestry, seed preservation projects, wetland restoration, coral reef protection and marine plastic pollution.
