Season 3 of the Netflix psychological thriller series “You” has finally confirmed its release date nearly two years after its premiere of Season 2.
The play centers around Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley), a serial killer who loves books and has a toxic and dangerous relationship with his female lover. The first season took place in New York, and the second season was set in Los Angeles.
Monday, Netflix Shared a trailer for the upcoming season, and revealed that the series will return with a new episode on October 15th, as well as a new member of Joe and his girlfriend, Love (Victoria Pedretti) family in Los Angeles.
At the end of Season 2Love reveals that she is pregnant with Joe’s child, and Joe is about to kill her. The two got married and moved to the suburbs. In the new trailer, someone saw Joe making a cake while thinking about what name he should give his baby boy.
“People nowadays will give their children any name to attract attention. Despite your mother’s background and your grandma’s determination to call you forty reincarnations, I know better,” Joe said.
“A boy is not what we expect. If I say the idea of a’mini me’ is definitely exciting, and it’s not without, uh, challenge, then I’m lying. Let’s talk, I hope you can be like me Do what you say, not like me. But for you, I can change. I will become a person you respect, a person you will proudly call him Dad.”
In the end, Joe managed to get a perfect name for his baby boy.
“What do you call you? A powerful but not scary, classic but not basic name,” he said.
“Of course it is literature, because you will grow up in a house full of books. Henry. Choosing your name is the first decision I made in my life, in order to give you the best life to protect you and to shape your will What kind of person to become.”
With the addition of babies, some new actors will join the couple. Shalita Grant, Scott Speedman, Saffron Burrows, Dylan Arnold, Tati Gabrielle, Chris O’Shea, Travis Van Winkle, Michaela McManus, Christopher Sean, Shannon Chan-Kent and Ben Menhl will appear in Season 3.
