How to spend less time driving each day

Telling you to drive badly is all well and good, but how do you stop doing it? Many of you will believe that there is absolutely no way you can cut back on your daily driving, but here are some ideas to prove it is possible:

Only drive when absolutely necessary

In fact, there are only a few situations where driving is absolutely necessary:

  • you need to carry a lot of things

In most other cases, you can find other ways to get around. For example, if you need to drop your kids off at school – it’s only a 20 minute walk – take them to school. It keeps you and your family more active.
If you’re going anywhere alone — and you don’t need to carry a lot of stuff — you have no reason to drive. Even long distance trips can be done by public transport. Sure, you’re sitting, but at least you’ve walked to the station and back. Only drive if you have no other options.

Find a more active mode of transportation

Second, you can find other ways to get around that keep you upright and active.it could be a bicycle or electric scooter – Either way, you can get from A to B in different ways without sitting in your car.
Why is this important? Because it brings more convenience to your life. Walking takes a long time, meaning a five-minute drive could take 15 or 20 minutes. By using more active modes of transportation, you can reduce the total travel time to much closer than driving. So, if you’re worried about scheduling, this should do the trick.
As you can see, reducing your total daily driving time is very easy.you do not need Drive, except in very special circumstances. The more active you are, the healthier you will be.
