Summer sustainable one-piece swimsuit

Unfortunately, we didn’t leave this spring as planned, sigh. So I didn’t do any spring break shopping, but I decided to start planning for summer and I was already looking for cute swimsuits to wear on the beach. The topic of swimwear is circulating in my group chats. Before you know it, summer is here!

I’m a big fan of one piece swimsuits. Mainly, I just find them more comfortable. Overall, I can’t get rid of the irritability, wardrobe glitches and weird tan lines. I wrote this article last year, so I decided to update it with some new styles and some brands that were new to me. After last year, I plan to wear as many swimsuits as possible this summer. Whether you’re planning to hit the pool, beach, or lake, here are some cute one-piece swimsuits to get you excited about in summer.

I love Summersalt and fun fact, I was introduced to the brand a few years ago and when they launched, Craig and I shot their first commercial in Mexico. What really stands out about their swimsuits is how comfortable they are.Made from 78% recycled polyamide, made of post-consumer materials Just like old fishing nets, their suits also offer UPF 50+ protection. I always recommend the flank because it is so comfortable. Pleated backflips are another lovely style, and perhaps my favorite is that they have a full-coverage bottom (yes!). This is a new swimwear brand for me and they come in a lot of really beautiful colors and styles.I love one piece of lilac. Zulu & Zephyr uses recycled polyester, REPREVE® lining and OEKO-TEX® 100 certified hardware. Most of their swimwear has a taller cut leg and less back coverage.

Vitamin A swimwear Designers collaborated with top factories in Italy, Canada and California to create EcoLux, the first premium swim fabric made from recycled nylon fibers. In fact, all vitamin A swimsuits are made in the USA.I also really like that you can narrow your search by coverage (I am full coverage fans). I also had One piece of vitamin A Over the years (this style has been discontinued), it has undergone extensive wear, washing, chlorine, salt and sun exposure.

i am a huge fan Madewell’s second wave of swimming. They are made from 80% recycled nylon from waste such as fishing nets, fabric scraps or carpets and also feature UPF 50 protection. Their styles are super comfortable and great for activities (I wear mine on my surf, paddle board, bike, etc.). Plus, they already have some really cute summer prints and styles.

Emerald Swim

Made entirely in the USA, Jade Swim uses ECONYL made from 100% recycled nylon for most of its collection. They also upcycle fabric waste during production, repurpose it in various ways, and use 100% recycled plastic and biodegradable shipping bags.
