Survey: 41% of Americans lost their trust in doctors during Covid

Among the patients who contacted their doctors, only 55% of patients received the latest information about Covid-19 or the vaccine. Currently, only 45% of people receive general health information, 29% receive information about arranging preventive screening, and 21% receive information related to their chronic diseases.

Investigations have shown that receiving information from the care team may prompt patients to take action. Approximately 71% of respondents stated that they might schedule preventive care appointments if prompted by their doctor.
