Just two days in Sydney isn’t enough to cover all the sights and things to do in one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Cities like New York and London are charming, grand and historic, while cities like Vancouver, Seattle, Oakland and San Francisco have beautiful natural harbors.

Sydney, on the other hand, transcends these cities in a sense as it manages to uniquely combine the elegance of a big city with lush nature and a magnificent harbour.

From stunning beaches and harbours, to cool bars, fantastic brunch and stunning culinary settings, two days in Sydney are sure to treat your senses to an extraordinary journey.

Unless you’re Australian or happen to be from New Zealand, going to Sydney is a long, long trip.

Fortunately, Sydney Airport is only 8 kilometers (5 miles) from the Central Business District (CBD). Sydney Airport is about a 25-minute drive from Sydney Airport to the city center in light traffic, and you may need a hotel to freshen up after a long flight.

Commonly known as the Airport Express, it is fast and convenient, and it only takes 13 minutes to connect Sydney Airport with the central business district! Even better, trains run about every ten minutes. The station is located at the northern end of the airport and is accessible from the arrivals terminal.

Alternative transportation options include shuttle bus, bus or rental car.

Nonetheless, taking the train is the most economical way to get to the city center and Sydney suburbs, especially if you are only in Sydney for 2 days.
