Taekwondo: Lower Body Strength

Equipment: Optional (light weight, boxing gloves, wrist/ankle weights)

Format: 3 rounds per recommended number/time. Then perform the finishing combination.

We'll do it in order below, so follow along with the video for all my instructions and form tips.

Circuit:

  • Alternating side punches (1:00)
  • Round Kick (0:30 per side)
  • Shuffle to inside kick (1:00)
  • Victim alternates squats with shin kicks (1:00)
  • Duck, jab, cross/duck, knee/duck, jab, cross, knee (0:30 each side)

combination: Dodge, jab, cross, back knee strike, drag step, front kick (1:00 for each side)
