The future king smiled at the camera against the backdrop of the verdant garden of his home in Gloucestershire.
He is wearing a blue pinstripe suit, a light blue tie and a polka dot pocket square.
A purple flower adorns his lapel.
The photographer is Hugo Burnand, who took wedding photos for Charles and Camilla in 2005 and for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in 2011.
In 2008, Charles also asked the photographer to take birthday photos to commemorate his 60th birthday. He also took a portrait photo of the Duchess before.
The prince will spend his birthday and participate in the annual anniversary service held at the monument.
When the Queen watches from the balcony of the Office of Foreign Affairs, Commonwealth and Development, he will lay a wreath on the highest steps of the monument on behalf of the Queen.
Charles began placing one on his mother’s behalf in 2017, and this change is seen as a subtle shift in the duties of the head of state.
Buckingham Palace said, Queen Will participate in the annual wreath laying ceremony held in Whitehall on November 14 this year to commemorate the British war victims.
Just three weeks ago, the 95-year-old monarch missed several other events after being ordered to rest by the royal doctor. On October 20, she stayed in the hospital for one night and underwent a preliminary examination.
When Charles met with people in Brixton on Thursday, he assured onlookers of the Queen’s health.
Charles was welcomed by the crowd after being engaged to the Prince’s Trust in South London.
Charles patted his arm encouragingly, as if saying: “She is fine, thank you.”
On Wednesday, at a reception held at Windsor Castle, the royal family received an early birthday cake because he welcomed the organization recognized by the Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
Jo Taylor, the owner of Reach and Rescue, gave him the cake, a company that makes telescopic rescue poles for emergency personnel.
Ms. Taylor’s company was recognized in the innovation category. She said: “The prince smiled and said,’You have been studying me,’ and he stuffed the card into his left pocket.”
Charles recently attended the Cop26 Climate Summit Glasgow There, he told world leaders “we need to put our words and promises into practice.”
One of the long-term environmentalists’ own efforts to reduce his carbon footprint is to eat less meat and dairy products, and switch his Aston Martin to cheese and wine by-products.
