The best place to pick pumpkins in Staffordshire


Nothing can scream Halloween like a pumpkin. Carving pumpkin lanterns of various shapes and sizes is probably my favorite Halloween tradition and Halloween party for kids.We always reserve the pulp of carved pumpkins to make various autumn delicacies, such as pumpkin pie with pumpkin soup.

Having said that, it’s almost time to visit the pumpkin patch! We chose some of our favorite places to pick your own pumpkins in Staffordshire.

Pick your own pumpkin Bednar

Moors Covert Farm is opening its pumpkin field to the public 16-17 weekend Then from Every day from October 23 to 31.

Admission is free, and there are pumpkins of various sizes and colors to choose from. Hot drinks and food are provided, and you can ride a carriage, a straw castle, sheep and piglets.
They do not currently require advance reservations, but will update their Facebook page If there is any change in the situation.

Canal farm

  • Free for under 2 years old

In addition to the pumpkin patch, there are also family games, ultraviolet mazes, farmer Chris’ weird tractor and Halloween face painting.
Pumpkins will be charged by weight at the farm shop. In addition, there is an additional charge for face painting.

Lower Drayton Farm

Lower Drayton Farm Pumpkin picking is open every weekend from Saturday, October 2 Every day from Monday, October 18th to 31stHe needs to book tickets in advance.

The fare is–

  • Children 2-16 years old £7.00
  • Children under 2 are free
  • No caregiver

After picking the perfect pumpkin, head to their pumpkin carving tent to get creative. Take selfies with your pumpkins in the “Pumpkin Photo Booth” and have a chance to win prizes! Hot dogs, homemade pumpkin soup, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and soft drinks are all available.

National Forest Adventure Farm

Halloween ghost Run from October 16, 17, and 23 to 31. Tickets need to be booked online.

The fare is–

  • Adult £14.99
  • Children over 2 years old £14.99-Children under 2 years old are admitted free
  • Seniors over 60 £11.99
  • Disabled persons £11.99 / free admission for caregivers

There are many things to do from pumpkin picking (free pumpkins are included in the ticket price), tractor rides, broom training, intimidating schools, makeup, magic shows, etc. There are also traditional farm animal petting areas and indoor and outdoor play areas.
