Ali Kane motivates students the same way in his old school David Beckham Inspired him, United Kingdom The captain’s former physical education teacher said.
Kane attended Chingford Foundation School in east London, the same school as the former England captain David Beckham.
Mark Liden, the school’s physical education director, said that Kane was inspired by Beckham when he met in seventh grade.
He told PA News Agency: “When I first entered school-I started in 1995-to a large extent, the playground was about David Beckham.
“And I do know-because Harry mentioned it when he came back to the rally a few years ago-but he did quote David as inspiration.
“So I think it’s almost like a complete circle. I think Harry was inspired by seeing David become an international star. Now Harry is inspiring the next generation.”
Mr. Liden said that Kane’s name has been frequently mentioned when playing football with students on the playground in recent weeks.
“So I hope Harry is inspiring the future generation like David now,” he told PA.
Mr. Litton said: “The whole school is really lively. I think whether they like football or not, it has become a topic in the playground, in the cafeteria, in the course.
“I walked through the music corridor and they were happily singing the three lions on your shirt. It’s great to hear.
“People come up [and saying] “Did Mr. go home?” I have been asked many times. “

Mr. Lytton, who taught the three Lions team captain sports at the school, said: “Harry is a model student, he really is.
“He is not arrogant, he is not big head, he is humble, he is humble.
“Not only did he work very hard in sports, but he was also English language Mathematics, science, whatever it is, he gave it 100%.
“He will always be a team player, so although he is clearly the best player, he will choose the right pass, he will connect the game, he is a true team player.”
If the England team wins the European Cup final on Sunday, the school hopes that alumni Kane and Beckham will return to school to talk to students and staff.
Mr. Litton said: “If we can bring these two, two England captains together, I think it would be great.
“I don’t think any other school has two England captains, so as a school, we are very, very proud of this fact.”
