According to an investigation report released by the State Attorney General’s Office last week, Brittany Comiso was one of 11 women accused of sexual harassment in Como. So far, Cuomo has rejected widespread calls for his resignation, including calls from fellow Democrats such as President Joe Biden, but he may soon face impeachment and removal from state legislators.
Comiso was only identified as “Administrative Assistant No. 1” in the report. He told state investigators that Cuomo once touched her breasts, which was the most serious accusation facing the governor. She also said that he rubbed her back while taking pictures.

Last week, she filed a criminal case with the Albany Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff Craig Apple told reporters on Saturday that his agency and the county district attorney’s office will conduct a thorough investigation and then determine whether to support the criminal charges.
In an interview with CBS News and the Albany Times League scheduled to air on Monday morning, Comiso said that she submitted the report and held Cuomo responsible for his actions.
“What he did to me was a crime,” she said in an excerpt released by CBS on Sunday. “He broke the law.”
Cuomo denies any wrongdoing, but he admits that his efforts to maintain close relationships with the people he meets may make some people feel uncomfortable.
His lawyer Rita Glavin told reporters on Friday that Comiso’s account was fabricated, and the e-mails and other written evidence she cited weakened her story.
In another excerpt released by CBS, Comiso said that when Cuomo quickly turned his head to kiss her lips, he occasionally hugged and kissed her on the cheek.
But Comiso said that she “not said anything” at the time.
“People don’t understand that this is the governor of New York State. There are soldiers outside the mansion, as well as mansion staff. Those soldiers who are there, they are not here to protect me. They are there to protect him,” Comiso said.
