The island of Candice on the west coast of Scotland sells for approximately US$70,000 (1 million rand) on the market.
This 8.9-hectare island is uninhabited and is only 2.4 kilometers away from the nearest village Achiltibuie, where there are approximately 300 residents. According to daily records.
A press release from Càrn Deas stated that Càrn Deas has no people, but there are many wild animals, including porpoises, dolphins, whales and basking sharks. The press release added that Càrn Deas is part of Summer Isles, a group of islands on the west coast. Its name comes from the local herders who used to herd sheep in the summer. Other islands in this group include Càrn Iar and Càrn Beag, which are also uninhabited.
According to Goldcrest’s website, the island can be reached by a 25-minute boat ride from Baden Tabat Pier or Old Dhoni Port.
