the last time Alan Walton On the show he talks about his e-commerce business spy boy He grew up living in his parents’ basement and struggled to make a living.Today, Allen spoke with Dan about some of the recent challenges that, despite his considerable success, have made him consider whether it’s time to reposition what he’s doing and focus more on his new venture Flying Man:
“Spy Guy is a difficult business to run. Like many e-commerce businesses, we have been facing supply chain issues, shipping shortages, our costs have really gone up…I think Delivering Happiness by Tony Hsieh, he talks about the game of poker and how you sit at a table where you can keep losing, losing, losing to the people you play with. One of the best things you can do is get up and move to another table. You may find that you play better there. I think that might be the case for me.”
And, later in the show, Ellen bravely agreed to play our favorite fun challenge: “Donate a Business Idea.”
