But it’s grown so much more than that — a firm that allows him to use his skills and live his life on his own terms, conditions that were not available to him when he was working at top consulting firm Bain & Company. I love that you can work with really smart people…I just don’t like that I can’t take vacations as I want…I remember the first year I really took negative vacations because I wanted to travel to Japan. And, when I came back, basically HR said, ‘Well, Davis, you’ve got five negative days. Now basically, next year you can’t take a vacation.
