We're getting married! Details of our multiverse wedding here…

Hey Earthlings!

I know I just recently announced our engagement and now our multiverse wedding! Why the need to extend it when we are so sure of each other and we are not waiting for anyone?

My parents were both dead, my best friends were scattered around the world, the Marcus family was in different states across the country with no one waiting, and having a big wedding with too many guests was no longer ideal.

The perfect way to do this is with our Multiverse Intimate Weddings!

Our multiverse wedding

Our wedding was the simplest, most intimate multiverse wedding you could dream of – just our closest family members gathered together physically, virtually and spiritually, nothing extravagant but filled with love . We said our vows in America, with the stunning Philippine beaches as our backdrop –pure magic.

I will always cherish this moment: my daughter, my beautiful girl, walking me down the promenade. Although she didn't quite understand what was going on, she happily took my hand and walked with me to the beach, her bright smile lighting up my life instantly.

What was even more special was feeling like my parents were with us in spirit. My sister was wearing my dad’s bond shirt—the same one he proudly wore on my debut—and it felt like a part of him was walking with me. My mom’s urn was right there during the ceremony, making her a part of every moment. I even wear a cremation necklace with her green bones in it to keep her close to my heart in the most personal way.

Marcus' family, spread across different states and time zones across the country, joined us online – his mom, dad and sisters all celebrated with us on TV. It was a very sweet connection that spanned miles and made the day feel perfect.

weather? Honestly, that's perfect. The sun is shining, the breeze is gentle, the sea is calm, reflecting the most beautiful blue sky – it honestly feels like the universe is sending us beautiful vibes.

I chose a soft off-white cream dress that was cut just right so I could move freely on the beach. Marcus looked handsome in khaki pants and jacket.

My bouquet was a personal masterpiece – carefully designed preserved flowers to match Marcus' corsage. 💕 I chose preserved flowers because I wanted something that would last forever, just like this special day and the memories we create. We later repurposed the bouquet and placed it in my parents' columbarium, ensuring their spirits were still with us.

It was a day full of love, memories and moments that I will cherish forever. With Marcus by my side, this is the beginning of a wonderful new chapter.

Let this moment last forever

Film and photography are very important to us – we want to capture and document every special moment. 🎥📸But we totally DIYed it! There are no professional photographers or videographers here. Instead, we set up our own Insta360 cameras (yes, two), as well as three cell phones and a laptop operated by my sister, our driver and Yaya. Thanks to them all, we covered all angles and views to make sure nothing was missed.

Thanks to the resort's Starlink connection, plus Globe and SMART as backup, we had everything we needed to stream and record. I honestly can’t even remember which connection we ended up using – everything worked perfectly and we couldn’t be happier! The lingering post-pandemic vibe is definitely still there in our setting and makes it even more special in a way

Marcus and I scouted the beach the day before the wedding to make sure no resort guests accidentally walked into our precious ceremony. He has a filmmaker's eye, focusing on lighting, angles, sound—all the technical details. At the same time, I worked on making sure the views were picture perfect and everyone, especially my daughter, felt comfortable.

Reception?

Reception, who? We ate at the beach all day! After the ceremony, we took a few photos, then changed into our beach clothes and headed straight out to paddleboards, kayaks, and the waves! We swam until we were completely wiped out. It was a fun, laid back, super intimate wedding getaway – exactly what we wanted.

The cost of our humble wedding

So the total cost for all expenses including 4 days stay at the beach resort is about 150,000 pesos. That doesn’t even include my clothes, Marcus’s outfit, the bouquet and corsage, or the legal documents and officiant. So the total is about Php200K Honestly, there is no such thing humble When you actually break down the wedding. But for us, this is the most “shumble” (simple + humble).

Initially, we envisioned two weddings—a low-key remote ceremony and a destination celebration. But…logistics? We have a feeling it's going to be chaos. Honestly, we have outgrown all this trouble! With no parents to please or influence our choices, and all of our friends (aka potential bridesmaids and groomsmen) scattered around the world, we realized a simpler plan made more sense. So, we compromised and went with the most intimate, dreamy setting we could think of. Guess what? The result was just as we hoped.

I had always dreamed of having a wedding where I could see trees, ocean, beach, sky and mountains…and I did it. It was everything I imagined and more.

Soi yes, my dear beautiful earthling, I am a happily married woman now!

I know you want more details, but I will share how to marry a foreigner and the things no one talks about in another article. stay tuned!
