Westminster horror, men and women were stabbed to death

After two bodies were found at different addresses half a mile apart in Westminster, a double murder investigation has been launched.

Tonight, the detectives took a very unusual step and released a picture of 49-year-old Li Peacock, whom they wanted to talk to urgently.

police At around 9:30 on Thursday night, after worrying about the residents, they went to a property on Ashbridge Street in Marylebone.

Officials found a 45-year-old woman who was wounded by a knife. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The paramedics then reminded them of a 59-year-old man who died of stab wounds at another property on Jerome Crescent near St Johns Wood at 2:15 am on Friday.

Scotland Yard said that it is believed that the two victims were not related, but their killings were related. A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said that no one was arrested.

The close relatives of the man and woman have been notified and supported by professional officials. Waiting for official identification.

An autopsy will be scheduled in due course.

Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jolly, who is in charge of the homicide investigation, said: “I will urge anyone who knows the whereabouts of Li Kongque to call the police immediately.

“If found, we will urge the public not to approach him, but to contact the police as soon as possible.”

He added: “First, we are with the families of the victims. We can only start to imagine what they are going through.

“At this early stage, we remain open to motives, but at this stage, we treat these crimes as interconnected.

“We are very eager to hear that anyone sees anything suspicious near Ashbridge Street or Jerome Crescent overnight.

“No matter how small or trivial you think your information is, please be sure to contact us.”

Westminster Commander and Chief Detective Superintendent Owen Richards said: “We know that local residents will be shocked and disturbed by this news.

“The crime scene is in place at Ashbridge Street and Jerome Crescent, and additional police resources and patrols have been deployed throughout the area to provide local security.

“Anyone with concerns is encouraged to contact patrol officers. To pass on information, please call 101.”
